Arrietty's Living Room

Besides the amount of unique objects and detail involved, the main challenge I faced was bringing together a large number of stills from the film in which sizes, distances and proportions weren't necessarily always the same.
Lighting was built with Luoshuang's Lightmass GPU, using exclusively emissive meshes for baked lighting instead of directional, point or spotlights, which allows softer shadows and less lightmap aliasing.

I started working on this late in January but didn't really get into it until lockdown begun in mid-March, when I started using my weekends and evenings after work for not much else besides this. This is the longest time I've spent on any art piece on my own.
